妊娠期牙齦炎-牙齦炎成因,牙齦炎徵狀

成因：

懷孕是不會直接引致牙齦炎的。不過懷孕期間，孕婦的荷爾蒙分泌會有所改變，如果孕婦沒徹底清潔口腔，孕婦的牙齦 (牙肉) 就容易對牙菌膜中的細菌所分泌的毒素產生過敏反應，變得紅腫和容易出血，這現象稱為「妊娠期牙齦炎」。


徵狀：

牙齦紅腫及刷牙時牙齦容易出血。



預防及治療：

• 起床、睡前用含氟化物牙膏刷牙，並用牙線徹底清除牙菌膜就可以預防「妊娠期牙齦炎」，亦可促進輕微的牙齦發炎自然痊癒。
• 孕婦可於懷孕期第四至第六個月往見牙科醫生並接受洗牙。這段期間，胎兒的情況較為穩定，準媽媽接受治療時也比較方便。

More Good News: A Great Smile is the Key to Aging Well.

Here's something else to share with your patients...if they want to look youthful, they should invest in their teeth!

According to our survey respondents, nearly half (45%) think a person’s smile can defy the effects of aging while eyes come in a distant second (34%).

In comparison, fewer adults find the following features likely to age well:

• Body shape (10%)

• Hair (6%)

• Legs (5%)

 

Perhaps speaking from experience, 54% of the U.S. population 50+ can attest that a smile is the feature that can overcome decades of birthdays most attractively.

This is far more than 39% of younger counterparts who feel the same!

 

 

And, a Great Smile is More Appealing to the Opposite Sex!

This may seem like a no-brainer, but more than one-third of respondents said they view people with a flawed smile to be less attractive (37%) and less confident than those with perfect teeth.

More women than men (40% vs. 35%) agree that an imperfect smile makes someone less appealing than a person with a perfect smile.

Chances are, they want to make a good one. Luckily, more people are willing to invest in their teeth than other self-improvements...including weight loss!

According to our research, a whopping 80 percent admit they would spend money to maintain a youthful appearance.

More women than men (84% vs. 75%) are willing to make this investment. And since many believe that turning 30 gives you plenty to dread, it’s not surprising that those, ages 30-39, are more likely than any other age groups (88% vs. 78%) to consider shelling out money for their looks.

口乾即唾液或唾沫不足以保持口腔濕潤，症狀包括口唇、舌頭及喉嚨乾涸、疼痛及吞嚥困難。成因眾多，包括使用藥物、患病、進行放射性治療、化療及神經線損壞等。口乾可引致口臭，說話或者吞嚥困難，蛀牙及口腔細菌或真菌過度滋長等。建議患者盡快諮詢牙科醫生。水。

常見治療方法包括︰

1) 處予藥物，增加唾液分泌

2) 處方人工唾液

3) 進行氟化物治療
給予口腔衛生指引及飲食營養輔導
